Sustainable Shoulder Bag Launch in Tokyo

At Adiantes, we are proud to announce the successful production and launch of a new shoulder bag, developed in collaboration with our partner Kimono Reborn Universe. This project reflects our shared commitment to sustainable production, circular design, and high-quality craftsmanship.

Upcycled Kimono Fabric: Breathing New Life Into Tradition

The bag features upcycled Kimono scrap fabric sourced directly from Japan. Each Kimono is carefully purchased through auction, then cut, cleaned, and prepared for use in new products. To maximize sustainability, any remaining fabric scraps from this process are passed on to Adiantes. By upcycling these offcuts, we help reduce waste while creating meaningful products that preserve the heritage of traditional Japanese textiles.

In addition to the upcycled Kimono fabric, the Shoulder Bag incorporates locally produced and tanned leather, developed in close partnership between Adiantes and our partner tannery. This leather is designed to meet international standards for handbags and luxury leather goods, combining durability with premium aesthetics. The collaboration ensures not only superior material quality but also strengthens the local supply chain.

The Shoulder Bag has officially launched in select retail locations in Tokyo, showcasing how heritage, sustainability, and modern design can come together. With a growing interest in eco-conscious accessories, the collection will soon expand to e-commerce platforms, reaching a broader audience worldwide.
